Give it its own row
In a compact setup, it is easy to spend all the available width on the brewer in a sketch. A separate grinder still needs a place. Record its exact model, dimensions, hopper configuration and the instructions you need to follow.
Baratza’s Encore ESP is a model-specific reference in our gear notes. The standard Encore and the ESP Pro are different products. A familiar family name is not enough to identify which dimensions or accessories apply.
Reserve the transfer task
Think through where the grounds container, portafilter or other receiving vessel will be during your actual routine. The planner includes a work strip beside the equipment, but it does not simulate your hands or prove that a particular tool fits within that strip. Measure the relevant objects separately.
A sketch can expose an omitted task without judging coffee quality. No number in this planner predicts grind consistency, retention, taste or noise. We have not performed those measurements and do not rank grinders by them.
Avoid using every spare inch twice
A space reserved for refilling a hopper cannot automatically be counted as permanent storage for something else. If you intend to alternate tasks in the same space, write that sequence down rather than showing both objects there at once.
Save the complete arrangement with any remaining questions. If the grinder was left out of the first budget or footprint, revisiting the whole plan is more useful than squeezing it into an unverified corner. Keeping existing suitable equipment is also a valid outcome; a separate purchase is not required by this guide.
